THEDI has successfully concluded a crucial training on Safety & Security and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies (MPHSS) –equipping participants with practical tools to protect themselves and effectively support communities in times of crisis.
The training provided participants with knowledge on risk mitigation, self-protection protocols and trauma-informed care, while strengthening their ability to respond with empathy and psychological first aid during emergencies. By integrating physical safety with mental and emotional wellbeing, the program fostered resilience and strengthened coordination a mong frontline responders.
The initiative reflects THEDI’s continued commitment to building safer, more responsive communities and ensuring that those working closest to vulnerable populations are empowered to deliver support with confidence, care and compassion
